Job Summary
Expand simulation competence across departments by developing models, conducting simulations, and sharing knowledge to optimize hearing instruments and accessories. Implement new material models for polymers, foams, and viscoelastic behaviors while performing engineering analysis in structural mechanics, fluid flow, thermodynamics, and vibroacoustics. Utilize 3DXperience or similar software with Python integration to support the mechanical R&D team in designing effective manufacturing solutions.
Required Qualifications
- broad FEM experience
- 3DXperience or similar software
- FEM model creation
- Python, including integration with macros in 3DXperience
- Advanced material modelling within polymers and foams, such viscoelastic, plastic materials and hyperelastic behavior
- Engineering analysis within areas such as structural mechanics, fluid flow, thermodynamics, acoustics, vibroacoustics, drop testing, and magnetic analysis
- CFD (Computational fluid dynamics)
- comprehensive understanding of structural mechanics and vibroacoustics
