Job Summary
Cardiology Heart Failure Fellow role at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. Provides day-to-day clinical care and management of patients on the Cardiology Heart Failure Unit, performs right heart catheterisations and endomyocardial biopsies, manages outpatients in Early and Long Term Heart Failure clinics, and participates in teaching and research within the Heart Failure Unit. Includes teaching of junior staff and involvement in the research program; collaborative work with a multidisciplinary cardiology team across public and private practice settings. Salary range HM25–HM30 pro rata for part-time.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent
- RACP exams and completion of three core years of RACP approved cardiology training or equivalent
- Registration with AHPRA
- Current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain
