Job Summary
Directs planning, procurement, controlling, and distribution of materials and products to meet company objectives and customer requirements. Supervises scheduling internally and externally, collaborates with the Production Manager to support manufacturing needs, and ensures on-time delivery. Plans, schedules, and coordinates department activities to fulfill sales orders and maintain inventory levels. Leads the Materials team, oversees purchasing and contracting for materials and services, analyzes data to plan logistics from concept through product lifecycle, and drives improvements in quality, cost reductions, and delivery performance. Requires SAP expertise, 5S and APQP/PPAP involvement, compliance with IATF 16949/ISO/TISAX, and strong coordination with suppliers, production, and HR for training and safety. Travel to multiple plants (domestic and international) is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is required
- Five to 7 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of SAP
- Experience with 5S and SAP training/experience preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and financial reports
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
