Feeds Operator

Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing broadcast feeds, including satellite, fiber, IP, and streaming sources. Guide remote contributions by advising on device placement, lighting, acoustics, and camera framing while managing connection stability. Flag wardrobe or appearance concerns to producers and coordinate feed acquisition, recording, and routing for live and recorded broadcasts. Operate switching and monitoring equipment to verify signal integrity, audio levels, and video performance before transmission. Troubleshoot routine feed issues and coordinate with engineering and master control teams. Record and archive programming content as required. Maintain communication regarding feed schedules and transmission requirements. Stay abreast of new technology and complete tasks accurately in accordance with editorial priorities. May serve as a team leader, assigning work and coaching members.
