Job Summary
Operate feed truck and front end loader machinery to distribute customised feed rations and mill grain while monitoring, measuring, and weighing commodities. Perform basic vehicle and equipment maintenance and accurately follow ration formulas. Record data and information daily. Work a lifestyle friendly 10/4 roster with a crew of seven in a Brisbane Valley feedlot carrying 3500 head of cattle. Hold a current manual driver's license and own reliable transport. Previous experience with feed trucks and loaders is ideal, though full training is provided.

- Competency to safely operate large scale machinery
- Mechanically minded
- Sound computer literacy
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively without supervision and within a close team environment
- Flexibility and willingness to undertake other duties within the feedlot
- Current manual drivers license
- Previous experience in operating feed trucks and front end loaders
- Immunity for Q-fever
