Job Summary
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair on production machinery. Execute preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities, including plumbing and carpentry functions. Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment while reading equipment manuals and work orders. Complete preventive maintenance documentation and consistently apply safety practices and housekeeping standards. Perform tasks as assigned by the feed mill manager or maintenance supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- demonstrated mechanical and electrical skills
- Specific experience
- ability to read, write and speak English
- basic math skills including Addition, Subtraction, division and multiplication and percentage calculations including the ability to pass a Prove it Test
- Lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work weekends
