Feedlot Equipment Operator (Grand View, ID)

Job Summary
Operate tractors, bulldozers, loaders, and dump trucks to support day-to-day feedlot operations; level and bed livestock pens, particularly during winter months; assist with loading, hauling, and removing manure; perform routine equipment checks and light maintenance (fueling, oil level monitoring, greasing); partner with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is serviced and operating efficiently; follow all safety guidelines and company procedures; may perform additional duties as assigned; strong emphasis on safety and quality in a feedlot environment; basic math and clear written communication; willingness to work around livestock and perform physical tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- At least 1-3 months of experience operating equipment
- Experience working around livestock is highly desired
- Valid driver’s license for operating single-axle vehicles
