Job Summary
Sort, inspect, and grade textiles; fold, assemble, and package textiles by hand or feed items into ironing or folding machines according to production requirements. Process textiles by product type and follow written packing instructions to prepare items for final distribution. Place finished products onto conveyors or into carts and move materials within the production area. Record production activity by logging in and out of the Spindle productivity tracking system. Work in an industrial laundry facility with exposure to variations in temperature, humidity, odors, lint, and dust. Requirements include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, reach overhead, push/pull carts or bins, grasp textiles, and lift up to 25 pounds.
