Feeder / Packer Gluing - 3rd Shift (5 Day/8 Hour)

Job Summary
Feeder duties: safely feed/pack product on the gluer machine to achieve the target run speed; monitor blanks flow, quality, and jam-ups, and alert the Operator as needed. Packer duties: fill corrugated cases with the proper count, ensure proper fit, and notify Supervisor of issues. Maintain quality by identifying defective characteristics and communicating with Machine Operator, Supervisor, and Quality Control. Cross-train by rotating to different machines and areas; follow work orders and labeling instructions; observe 5S and lean manufacturing practices; support teamwork, maintain a clean work environment, and utilize machine downtime for productive tasks. Requires high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and basic computer skills; shift is 3rd shift, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM CT, Mansfield, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have basic computer skills and possess ability to utilize software.
- Must have the ability to read and understand documents, letters, etc. and write legibly in English.
- Must be able to understand and speak clearly, communicate, and understand directions in English as needed.
