Job Summary
Grasp textiles from a cart or bin, then sort, inspect, and grade them according to quality standards. Fold, assemble, and package different types and sizes of textiles by hand, or feed them into ironers and folding machines for final finishing. Place finished product onto conveyors or carts, and move loaded or empty carts within the production area. Process textiles based on written packing instructions while continuously meeting efficiency and safety standards. Follow supervision and maintain a clean work environment. Perform other production tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Recognize colors and sizes, count and sort accurately.
- Recognize, inspect, and grade products.
- Comprehend and follow written packing instructions.
- Comprehend and follow directions.
- Physical Demands consist of standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting up to 25 lbs., and stooping.
- Physical Requirements consist of being able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift.
