Job Summary
Grasp, sort, and grade clean textiles, then fold by hand or feed them into ironers and folding machines for final finishing. Move loaded or empty carts and bins within the production area, placing finished product onto conveyors or dumping slings onto work tables. Continuously meet efficiency and safety standards while following written packing instructions and supervision directions. Maintain a neat work area and recognize colors, sizes, and product types for accurate sorting. Work in a typical industrial laundry facility environment involving variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint, and dust.

- Recognize colors and sizes, count and sort accurately
- Recognize, inspect, and grade products
- Comprehend and follow written packing instructions
- Comprehend and follow directions
- Physical Requirements consist of being able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift
- Physical Demands consist of standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, grasping, lifting up to 25 lbs., and stooping
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- Must be available for the entire shift

- Must be able to sort, inspect, and grade according to quality standards
- Must be able to fold, assemble, and package by hand different types and sizes of textiles
- Must be able to feed different types and sizes of textiles into ironers or folding machines
- Must be able to process textiles according to type and written packing instructions
