Job Summary
Set-up and run analog press feeder equipment, loading paper stock, adjusting guides, and maintaining ink and feeder levels. Prepare the press by reading job tickets, assembling materials, and tracking production hours. Assist in preventive maintenance, move supplies using a pallet jack, and visually inspect work for defects. Maintain a clean, clutter-free workplace and report unsafe conditions to meet safety goals. Work the 6:00pm to 6:00am rotating shift with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- four plus years of relevant industry experience
- 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager's approval to hire full-time
- Ability to communicate/understand basic written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to become electric pallet jack certified and use a pallet jack
- Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to visually inspect all work for defects including colors
- Manual dexterity for repetitive work
- Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping up to 8 hours a day
- Frequent standing for prolonged periods of time up to 8 hours a day
- Frequent walking
- Work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- One plus years of experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution and/or fulfillment
- One plus years of experience as a press helper in a high-volume print shop
- Basic computer skills including email, basic mouse, keyboard, and menu navigation
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement
