Job Summary
Complete production and batching of high-quality feed supplements by operating equipment, unloading railcars and bulk dry ingredients, and delivering sacked feeds. Perform sampling, QC tasks, and batch testing while conducting general maintenance, inspection, cleaning, and mechanical troubleshooting. Operate a forklift according to safety standards and oversee tank usage for optimal utilization. Adhere to all safety policies and complete required training. This role supports PerforMix Nutrition Systems in developing balanced diets for cattle, ensuring proper nutrition for the production of exceptional Northwest beef.
Required Qualifications
- Basic math skills, including the ability to understand metric conversions
- Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- minimum of one (1) year of related experience and/or training
- Employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time
- The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- The employee is required to use hands to handle, grasp or feel
- will occasionally need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds from floor to waist
- Employee must be able to climb 30 ft ladders at a time and work above floor level at different levels of height
- The employee will be exposed to the outdoor temperature
