Job Summary
Operate and maintain single or tandem axle trucks, multi-axle configuration trucks, and other equipment for delivery and pickup. Perform daily safety inspections, maintenance checks, and preventative maintenance while keeping vehicles clean. Safely load and unload containers, pallets, and materials in accordance with regulations. Record data, complete logbooks, cargo records, and daily reports to ensure inventory control and accurate documentation. Deliver feed to proper destinations independently while providing quality customer service. Adhere to the Uniform Policy, safety rules, and company policies. Work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent thereof
- Two or more years of related work experience
- Acceptable valid CDL with required endorsements
- Valid DOT medical card
- Satisfactory driving record
