Job Summary
Operate feed mixing, grinding, pelleting, and batching equipment per production schedules while receiving, unloading, and storing bulk ingredients like grains and minerals. Move materials safely using loaders, forklifts, or augers, and follow precise mixing instructions from nutritionists or supervisors. Clean and sanitize bins, mixers, and conveyors regularly to prevent cross-contamination, perform routine maintenance on equipment, and document batch numbers, production volumes, and quality checks. Coordinate with delivery drivers and farm staff for accurate feed placement. Work 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., averaging 80 to 100 hours per biweekly pay period with one day off weekly across various farms in states including North Carolina, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, and Kentucky. Extreme weather conditions apply depending on the season.
Required Qualifications
- TN work visa for the United States
- Mexican nationality
- University degree and professional license in Feed Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field
- Mexican passport valid for at least 1 year
- Valid Mexican driver's license
- Excellent physical condition for demanding work between 8 to 12 hours a day
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
- A good level of English
- Interest in learning and improving their English skills
- Adaptability to new cultures and ways of life
- Independence and maturity to live away from family for extended periods
- Strong desire for personal and professional growth
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
