Job Summary
Operate production machinery for bulk receiving, mixing, pelleting, and shipping activities at the Chilliwack Mill to ensure uninterrupted feed production. Proactively identify and resolve operational issues while maintaining quality and food safety standards. Meet production targets, record data on orders, execute small maintenance tasks, and address unsafe situations. This role supports the global mission of Feeding the Future within a Nutreco company, requiring rotational shift work and specific certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 3 years manufacturing experience
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work in rotational shifts
- Ability & willingness to work shifts and overtime
- Ability to lift 25 kgs regularly
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to focus on details within a fast-paced environment
- Team player and coachable
- Exposure to the elements, noise and dust, and working at heights
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills with attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- Boiler certificate is preferred (at least Class 5)
