Job Summary
Operate automated feed manufacturing systems in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production schedules. Record daily production metrics, oversee loading and verification of feed delivery, and manage raw material storage and inventory. Conduct maintenance and troubleshoot milling equipment, maintain cleanliness in work areas, and support grain quality assurance through sampling and data management. Requires a Bachelors degree in Animal Science or Nutrition, with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of feed operations, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required
- Majors: Animal Science, Nutrition
- Knowledge of Agriculture and feed operation practices and procedures
- Knowledge of Quality control practices
- Basic understanding of computer operations
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years in Agriculture or related field
- 2-3 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelors Degree
