Job Summary
Skilled maintenance technician responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of feed mill equipment (mixers, pumps, motors, tanks, and plumbing) to support manufacturing of liquid feed supplements. Performs routine and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports production schedules. Assists with installation or modification of new equipment and automation systems. Collaborates with operations and production staff to coordinate maintenance activities and support production. Requires strong mechanical knowledge, CMMS proficiency, welding/fabrication ability, optional electrical/plumbing knowledge, adherence to safety protocols, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and the ability to pass drug and background checks; must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of feed mill equipment (mixers, pumps, motors, tanks, plumbing)
- Experience with CMMS
- Ability to weld, fabricate, and perform metal repair (welding experience preferred)
- Basic electrical and plumbing knowledge a plus
- Strong focus on workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb ladders
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Candidates must have valid documentation to work in the U.S.
