Feed Mill Lead

Job Summary
Feed Mill Lead will oversee day-to-day operations of the feed mill and feed warehouse, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while meeting production schedules. Responsibilities include operating all feed mill and delivery equipment, training team members, managing inventory, weighing ingredients for feed recipes, following batch sheets, maintaining facilities and paperwork, and driving a commercial vehicle as needed. Must be able to obtain PCQI certification, and Class A CDL, with strong computer skills and ability to work independently in a safety-conscious environment.
Required Qualifications
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the feed mill and warehouse.
- Accurately weigh and measure medications and ingredients for feed recipes.
- Accurately follow batch sheets for feed mixing.
- Ensure food safety and feed quality standards are met.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with monthly inventory duties.
- Ensure correct products are being loaded at the dock.
- Safely operate bulk feed delivery equipment.
- Observe OSHA, state, federal, and MKC safety regulations.
