Job Summary
Clinician provides direct counseling supports to adults with developmental disabilities in a geographic area, with services including Diagnostic Assessments/Treatment Plans, Individual Therapy, Family/Couples Therapy, Group Therapy, and Case Consultation. Responsibilities include establishing treatment goals, delivering clinical interventions (individual, family, group), preparing treatment plans and progress notes in an EHR (eHana), handling intake-related tasks, coordinating with supervisors and Utilization Review, attending required supervision, complying with HIPAA and confidentiality policies, and delivering services across locations as arranged with clients (potential telehealth).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in social work (MSW), a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling (MHC) or a Master’s Degree in Education with a concentration in Psychology or Counseling Psychology, and experience as a Clinician
- Master’s Degree candidates who are licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (i.e. LICSW, LMHC or LCSW) will receive higher fees for their services
- Valid and current driver’s license in State of residency
- Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks
- Experience with electronic health records preferred
- Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD
