FedRAMP Subject Matter Expert

FedRAMP Subject Matter Expert (SME) needed to support commercial clients in preparing for 3PAO audits. Remote, part-time (as needed) with 1099 or Corp. to Corp arrangement. Responsibilities include advising on FedRAMP requirements and compliance strategies, conducting gap assessments and remediation planning, assisting in implementing security controls per FedRAMP and NIST SP 800-53, developing/refining documentation (SSP, policies, procedures), preparing clients for 3PAO assessments with mock audits/readiness reviews, providing recommendations for security controls in cloud environments, supporting pre-sales calls, and collaborating with account managers on proposals and project management. Qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree, certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP), at least 5 years in IT security with cloud security and compliance expertise, and strong communication and analytical skills.
