Job Summary
Deliver a wide variety of packages to different addresses while following your route and maintaining time management. Operate a well-maintained vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations and safety measures, ensuring you read, speak, and understand English well enough to converse with the public and respond to official inquiries. Manage your own schedule as a self-directed driver within the Western Shawnee and Lenexa delivery area, Monday through Friday. This full-time role offers a starting pay of $20/hr with a performance-based raise to $21/hr after two months, plus monthly safety bonuses and weekends PTO. Drivers receive paid training, a company truck, and a uniform.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid, non-expired Driver's License
- No DUIs
- Pre-employment background check is required
- Pre-employment drug screen - (NO MJ, MJ prescriptions NOT allowed per DOT)
- Initiative with fast-moving feet and mindset, with safety as #1
- Must be reliable
- Have a positive attitude
- Good communication
- Customer service
- Decision-making skills
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand English well enough to converse with the public, understand highway signs and signals, and respond to official inquiries
