Job Summary
Design promotional materials for the department website and other digital platforms. Create graphics to promote upcoming events and assist with updating digital and print publications. Troubleshoot website issues as needed while maintaining image quality for digital use. This role supports the Religious Studies department's communication and outreach efforts. Federal Work-Study eligible students only; anticipated start date is 8/31/2026. Pay rate is $16.50/hr on an as needed basis. Second- through fourth-year undergraduate students enrolled full-time at UVA are required, with Religious Studies major preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Federal Work-Study eligibility is required
- Second-, third-, or fourth-year undergraduate student enrolled full-time at UVA
- Good academic standing
- Graphic design experience
Desired Qualifications
- Religious Studies major preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Basic understanding of website quality assurance
- Comfortable cropping and optimizing images for digital use
- Strong written communication and problem-solving skills
- Interest in graphic design, marketing, communications, and/or digital media
