Job Summary
Lead client service, growth, and leadership responsibilities for the Tax line by serving as a senior tax client service leader, relationship owner, or capability leader. Manage multiple engagements or client portfolios, monitoring status, resources, economics, quality, and client service expectations while coordinating across capabilities, industries, and geographies. Identify technical tax matters and client opportunities early, consult with specialists as needed, and guide teams through complex issues. Coach high-performing teams, build technical depth, and align decisions to long-term firm value and cultural stewardship. Maintain ongoing client relationships to understand goals and connect clients with the right expertise. Apply strong quality, risk, independence, and professional judgment to all activities using digital tools and standardized processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited university
- Active CPA license in the state of residence or primary office
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of Tax experience in public accounting
- Ability to effectively identify, sell and deliver tax services to middle-market clients
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with firm personnel and clients in person, by telephone, and through electronic or written means
- Effective project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and quality of work in a fast paced, client service environment
- Ability to work effectively in a professional office environment and, as required by the role, at client sites, including the ability to sit for extended periods of time and work at a computer and other standard office equipment
- Ability to maintain consistent, onsite presence during core business hours including the ability to regularly report to a firm office location and travel to client sites as required, including access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work extended and/or non standard hours during peak periods or as necessary to meet client, project, or firm business needs

- Proven ability to develop senior tax talent and build teams with strong technical and specialty capabilities
