Job Summary
Lead complex M&A, acquisition, and restructuring engagements by supporting tax due diligence, structuring, and advisory services for private equity sponsors and corporate acquirers. Evaluate tax exposures and planning opportunities, advising clients on tax-efficient alternatives while reviewing transaction documentation and contributing to technical memoranda. Analyze assumptions within client financial models to assess tax impacts on projected outcomes and oversee engagement economics including scope management and billing. Coordinate with domestic and international offices to deliver integrated solutions, coach team members on performance and quality, and establish trusted client relationships. Requires eight years of professional services experience, three years in tax transaction advisory, and a CPA license. Hybrid work model available for local candidates; salary range $127,700.00 - $269,300.00.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a professional services or public accounting environment
- At least three (3) years of direct experience in tax transaction advisory services
- Bachelor's degree required
- Active CPA license, U.S.-admitted attorney status, IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), or equivalent professional credential required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
- Willingness and ability to travel as business needs dictate
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- Concentrations in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics strongly preferred
- Advanced degree such as a Juris Doctor (JD), Master of Laws (LLM – Tax), or Master's in Accounting or Taxation preferred
- Additional relevant certifications or professional designations are a plus
