Job Summary
Perform comprehensive oral assessments, remove deposits and stains, and apply fluoride and sealants. Examine the oral cavity, take dental impressions, and educate patients on oral hygiene and disease prevention. Obtain medical histories, process radiographs, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Provide chairside assistance and manage dental instruments and equipment. Schedule and document patient care using electronic dental records. Serve active-duty U.S. Navy service members and their families in a modern, patient-focused clinic. Monday–Friday schedule with no routine evenings or weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (as applicable)
- Graduate of a CODA-accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Successful completion of the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE)
- Current, active, unrestricted Dental Hygienist license
- Current radiography certification
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of Dental Hygienist experience
- Excellent communication, patient education, and interpersonal skills
