Job Summary
Organize and maintain federal program, regulatory, and administrative records while ensuring documents are accurate, traceable, and secure. Support FOIA requests through document searches, collection, organization, and tracking. Compile administrative records supporting regulatory, environmental, offshore energy, and infrastructure activities, including assisting with litigation-related preparation. Reconcile electronic shared drives and hardcopy project files, maintaining consistent naming conventions, folder structures, and tracking logs. Perform document quality control to identify missing, duplicate, or misfiled records while handling sensitive information per federal requirements. Coordinate with government and contractor personnel to locate and organize records using approved systems. This contract role with NOAA offers hybrid or remote options in Silver Spring, MD, with benefits including 401(k), dental, health insurance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing high-volume records, case files, administrative records, or document repositories
- Experience conducting document searches and maintaining traceable document collections
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality control
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, shared drives, SharePoint, or similar document-management tools
- Ability to obtain required NACI/DOC credentials
- Hybrid or Remote as approved
