Job Summary
MICON Group, Inc. seeks a Federal Project Manager to serve as a key liaison between the company and federal clients, overseeing project delivery from award to completion. The manager will coordinate with construction and operational teams, maintain relationships with federal agencies, support compliance with federal requirements, and facilitate project management tasks such as scheduling and documentation. The ideal candidate should possess federal project management experience, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a familiarity with federal contracting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience on federal projects
- Required experience working with federal owners such as USACE and/or NAVFAC
- Familiarity with federal contracting requirements, FAR/DFARS, and agency-specific processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with construction teams and diverse stakeholders
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed
- Proficiency in MS Office
