Job Summary
Personnel Assistant I positions perform a variety of general personnel clerical tasks across employee records, benefits, education, training, employment/staffing, and EEO/affirmative action. The role may involve updating manual and automated personnel records, conducting surveys, and processing identification/DoD CAC issuance related to building and system access. Requires completion of required DEERS/RAPIDS training by end of Phase In Period, initial NACI and FBI fingerprint checks, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain federal clearance. Office-based duties with potential travel to off-site projects, located in Los Angeles, CA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- U.S. citizen
- Clearable to obtain a Federal Clearance
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Valid U.S. state driver’s license
- Experience or ability in personnel records, benefits, education, training, employment, EEO procedures
- Ability to operate general office equipment
- Ability to pass required background checks (NACI, FBI fingerprint)
- Prior administrative or military personnel experience preferred
- Knowledge of DoD CAC issuance policies and RAPIDS training
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to obtain security clearance
- Subject to Federal employment requirements
