Job Summary
Inventory and analyze the 15 boxes of Bob McManus historical collection materials, assessing their physical condition and determining historical value for permanent FTA retention. Apply archival preservation and conservation techniques while digitizing photographs, maps, and documents, then manage existing digital photo files. Store digitized materials in the FTA History Hub and prepare indexes, meta-tags, and material descriptions for archived content. Assist archive users with information retrieval and support presentations that make the collection accessible to employees, stakeholders, and the public. Research materials to develop web posts, displays, and presentations, and author articles about FTA history for publication.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of relevant archivist and/or records-management experience
