Job Summary
Feature Lead - Technology role at Bank of America overseeing a Payments Technology development team. Responsible for leadership, technical direction, and oversight of design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs; aligning technical solutions to business objectives; ensuring coding practices and quality meet software development standards. Leads multiple software implementations, guides engineering practices, collaborates with Product Owners, Architects, Software Engineers and Quality Engineers to deliver scalable, secure features on the Global Payments platform; may lead projects, manage budgets, mentor team members, and coordinate with external programmers. Emphasizes enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality, acceptance criteria, and continuous improvement; communicates effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences; contributes to automation, troubleshooting/causal analysis, and shared solution development; understands risk management and inclusive leadership as part of the managerial responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 Years relevant IT experience
- Strong working experience in JAVA/J2EE, Kafka, REST API, Spring framework, MuleSoft, Cucumber framework, GIT
- Exposure to Jenkins, WinSCP XLR, CI-CD framework
- XML, JSON usage in API and Microservices
- Eclipse IDE, WebLogic or JBoss
- Integration Technologies – Mule ESB & IDE or equivalent, middleware experience
- SQL scripting and procedures in Oracle
- Test-Driven Development and Unit Testing (Cucumber/Litmus, JUnit)
- Bitbucket repositories
- Ability to contribute to automation, causal analysis, and shared solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, team leadership, problem solving
- Mentoring
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field
- Agile framework knowledge
