Job Summary
Conduct Shell and Solid mesh generation for Rubber, Metal, and Plastic Parts using Hypermesh, then execute complete FEA simulations with Abaqus. Follow customer guidelines to ensure mesh quality and result accuracy while meeting agreed timelines. Support Product Engineering by creating 2D drawings in Catia or NX CAD platforms, applying GD&T standards and geometric stack-up analysis as requested. Validate test fixtures for Worst Case and Root Sum of Squares scenarios and assist with RFQ initial feasibility. Adhere to IS, DIN, and VC CAD standards across all deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- BE/ B Tech/ M Tech- Mechanical or Automobile
- 3 – 5 years Hands on experience on Hypermesh
- Good approach to mesh the complex geometry
- Hands on experience on FEA using ABAQUS ( Preference), Ansysis or other solver
- Develop 2D drawings in alignment with VC & Customer Standards for Catia & NX platforms (Catia preferred)
- Consistently apply GD&T across BU 2D drawings
- Execute geometric stack-ups if required by Product Engineering
- Good understanding of strength of materials
- Problem solving techniques
