Job Summary
Perform routine and complex maintenance, repairs, and installations on portable and fixed fire suppression equipment, including fire extinguishers, kitchen systems, and hoses. Conduct service tasks such as recharging, hydrostatic testing, and part replacement while inspecting for legal compliance. Monitor inventory, manage hazardous material disposal, and tag equipment to certify operational status. Install systems in new or renovated facilities and adhere to safety standards. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to work on ladders or in tight spaces. Located in Buda, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and customers as needed
- Ability to perform routine to moderately complex inspections, service, and repair of fire extinguishing equipment
- Ability to interpret, apply, and explain applicable laws, codes, and regulations
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
- Ability to work on ladders or in tight spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Fire Extinguisher License preferred but not required (FEL)
