Job Summary
Field Office Manager (SES) at Mayo Correctional Institution — oversees budgeting, procurement, and human resources functions, provides advisory support to executive leadership, ensures budget compliance and proper coding, and manages HR programs including recruitment, payroll, benefits, and attendance/leave. Responsibilities include directing budget processes with real-time expenditure tracking, approving procurement requisitions for compliance, monitoring general services and reporting, and supporting policy interpretation related to collective bargaining unit employees. Requires experience in financial services and HR within a public/institutional setting; strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite and applicable state systems (e.g., People First). Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or its equivalent
- Eight (8) years of experience in performing and/or managing financial services (finance & accounting, procurement, budget compliance) and/or human resources/personnel.
- College education from an accredited institution can substitute for experience: Advanced degree and two (2) years of the required experience; Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of the required experience; Associate degree or professional certification within financial services and six (6) years of the required experience.
