Job Summary
Check guests in and out, execute all guest requests, and handle cash and credit card transactions. Coordinate VIP, suite, and returning guest profiles by contacting guests or travel planners and enlisting assistance from all departments to deliver requested services. Qualify and order amenities for guests, escort VIPs to rooms, and conduct post-arrival follow-ups. Develop and maintain the return guest program, assist with the Express Check-in system, and offer property orientations to VIPs and prospective clients. Conduct daily room inspections to maintain quality assurance and solicit feedback through guest interviews. Perform duties while complying with hotel policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- at least two years of related experience and/or training
- Luxury Hotel experience
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate (verbal and written) in English with guests, co-workers and management
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Shall be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Subject to long periods of standing
- Employees must fulfill their performance standards of this position
