Job Summary
Develop and manage the project quality plan, overseeing field quality control and ensuring compliance with Federal, State, Local, and ISO 9001 standards. Verify site activities against applicable codes, determine nonconformity dispositions, and implement corrective actions. Distribute QA/QC documentation to subcontractors, evaluate sub-consultant qualifications prior to hiring, and develop internal training and audit programs. Collaborate with Construction and Procurement to review contractual specifications for all materials. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, five years of progressive quality control experience, and a Professional Engineer License.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience of progressive responsibility in quality control positions
- Hold a current Professional Engineer License, or the ability to obtain
- Experience on large highway, bridge/structures, paving, and/or utility relocation projects as a contractor
- Applicable certifications in Quality and Construction
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent is preferred
