Job Summary
Execute independent design and operating effectiveness testing for Financial Crime Risk Management controls, including AML/ATF, sanctions, and ABAC, across TD's business lines and the Financial Intelligence Unit. Conduct skilled analytical research to identify risks and escalate non-standard transactions, while documenting findings and supporting follow-up actions in accordance with regulatory standards. Manage ambiguity to troubleshoot issues and prioritize workload to deliver quality results within target timelines. Collaborate with control partners to provide objective recommendations on process adequacy and contribute to project initiatives. Work onsite four days a week in Toronto, Ontario, reporting to a manager within the second line of defense.
Required Qualifications
- University degree/ college diploma or equivalent
- CAMS designation (or similar)
- 2+ years of experience in AML/ATF, Sanctions, audit, or control testing roles
- Experience working in an FIU and/or working knowledge of FIU related processes and controls
- Knowledge of AML/ATF regulations and current/emerging trends
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Individuals are expected to be onsite 4 days a week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience/SME within TD Securities or Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) businesses preferred
