Job Summary
Telecom Construction Lead responsible for leadership and oversight of field-based construction activities in coordination with third-party contractors. Focus areas include safety and environmental compliance, civil site preparation, material tracking and inventory, underground conduit installation, installation of telecom shelters and equipment racks, QAQC to engineering drawings and specifications, project sequencing and execution, and providing construction status updates to the project team. Capable of coordinating material/equipment delivery, mentoring FCRs, and managing multiple projects and personnel while adhering to OSHA safety regulations and client policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, or Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Technology, or Construction Management or associated degree; with 2 years of experience in the utility industry
- Associate degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management, or associated degree; with 4 years of experience in the utility industry
- High School degree or equivalent with 10 years minimum experience in the utility industry
- Must complete OSHA 30hr course
- Ability to travel 90% of working time
- Have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products, iOS devices, web-based applications, etc.
