Job Summary
Supervise all football practices and team events, organize tryouts, and manage player travel including overnight stays. Conduct instruction using varied methods to teach fundamental skills while maintaining accurate participation and financial records. Enforce program rules and regulations fairly, prepare detailed activity and financial reports, and recommend student awards. Ensure student safety through CPR and First Aid certification, maintain equipment inventory, and act as a liaison for post-secondary scholarships and academic achievement. Present a positive school image to parents and community while cooperating with district administrators.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students, peers and adults
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and faculty
- Hold all certificates required by Kentucky law
- Have a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations regarding the Middle School Football
- Have knowledge of CPR and First Aid
- Shall be knowledgeable of blood borne pathogens and other infectious materials and the procedures of dealing with them
- Present a professional appearance
