Job Summary
Data Engineer in Capgemini's Specialty data team responsible for analyzing data from multiple source systems and designing/modeling Data Marts based on business requirements. Must create data models, STTMs, and other technical documents; lead design, development, and implementation of data products in partnership with business partners and data scientists. Requires strong SQL (advanced), experience with DBT as an ELT tool, Snowflake, and familiarity with mainframe sources (Mainframe SAS, DB2). Proficiency with ETL/ELT pipelines, Fivetran orchestration, and BI/cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is preferred. Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0, Informatica, and Medallion Data Architecture is desired. Excellent communication and ability to translate design requirements into scalable data solutions is needed. Total/relevant experience: 5-7 years.
