Job Summary
Advise on Mexican corporate and labor and employment matters, including employee relations, social security, taxes, subcontracting, and regulatory investigations in collaboration with HR and U.S.-based legal colleagues. Support interactions with Mexican regulators and authorities for inspections, audits, inquiries, and administrative proceedings. Collaborate with global legal teams on cross-border policy alignment, risk mitigation, and investigations. Identify legal and regulatory risks in Mexico to expand into LATAM and contribute to training and education for business and HR partners on relevant legal topics. Requires a minimum of four years as a practicing attorney in employment, labor, or corporate fields with an active license to practice law in Mexico. Fluent English and Spanish are required; a Master's degree is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a practicing attorney in employment, labor, corporate, or related legal fields
- Experience serving as in-house counsel or advising multinational corporate clients
- Experience conducting and managing complex workplace investigations
- Demonstrated experience advising senior business leaders and Human Resources professionals on employment law and Employee Relations matters
- Experience supporting multiple jurisdictions and legal entities within a multinational organization
- Experience navigating issues involving Mexican labor law as part of a broader legal portfolio and with a business perspective
- Proven ability to navigate highly matrixed environments and manage competing business priorities
- Strong knowledge of Mexican employment and corporate law
- Experience working within financial services, banking, retail, insurance, shared services, or other highly regulated industries
- Law Degree (Licenciatura en Derecho)
- Active license and authorization to practice law in Mexico

- Strong executive presence and ability to influence business decisions through practical legal guidance
