Job Summary
Fatherhood & Community Outreach Coordinator responsibilities include recruiting and retaining clients for Genesee Health Plan and related programs; serving as a community ambassador at events; coordinating with the Deputy Director to schedule sites and recruit parents; engaging local businesses for incentives; providing client-focused outreach and crisis support; organizing and delivering the parent curriculum through workshops and activities; developing curricula content, training facilitators, and ensuring program fidelity; generating program reports and maintaining confidential client data; coordinating communications with agencies and partner organizations to recruit and coordinate care for clients; and helping to achieve annual organizational and program goals. Qualifications emphasize an associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred) and a minimum of three years of relevant nonprofit experience, plus strong administrative, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- AA or bachelor’s degree preferred in social work, psychology, education, or similar field
- minimum of three years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a nonprofit setting
- computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and social media literacy
- ability to prepare and review program reports and maintain demographic data
- excellent interpersonal and liaison skills with parents, caregivers, jail staff, schools, counselors, and partner agencies
- self-motivation and leadership capabilities
Desired Qualifications
