Job Summary
Collect raw material from multiple customer locations, inspecting for foreign or hazardous items before pickup. Provide customers with signed receipts detailing product weight and operate the collection vehicle in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain the vehicle in a clean condition, adhere to all safety procedures, and keep a DOT log book if required. Manage customer relations professionally while performing duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Prior route experience preferred
- Experience with truck hydraulics a plus
- Communicates clearly in verbal and written form
- Highly organized; superior time management skills
- Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers
