Job Summary
Audit and track torque strategy across all North America plants in compliance with standards. Serve as subject matter expert on fasteners, threaded fasteners, and rivets while driving innovations in fastening technology and automation. Manage fastening equipment hardware selection, MES data acquisition settings, and torque standard updates. Provide launch and production support for fastening issues, review customer requirements, and lead torque training across plants to develop competence. Collaborate with corporate engineers on new products and support plant operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 8+ years of fastener engineering experience
- Knowledge of manufacture processes and Tooling
- Strong knowledge of MS Office – especially Excel
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located
