Job Summary
Fast & Fresh Clerk at Hy-Vee delivers prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service across the store and at the pumps. Responsibilities include operating the cash register, scanning products, processing transactions and discounts (including coupons and food stamps), stocking and stocking displays, assisting customers by guiding them to products, and supporting inventory and store upkeep. The role requires teamwork, adherence to sanitation and company guidelines, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and standing for extended periods. Employment is contingent upon a pre-employment drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to solve practical problems; variety of variables with limited standardization; interpret instructions
