Job Summary
Assists the Fast & Fresh Department Manager in setting department standards for customer service, staffing, cleanliness, sanitation, and profitability; delivers prompt, friendly service and engages customers by name when possible; supports inventory and monthly processes; supervises and trains staff, assigns tasks, enforces store guidelines, and ensures accurate cash handling; requires strong communication, problem-solving, arithmetic abilities, and physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds; high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related work experience; anticipated to participate in various department duties and projects in a fast-paced retail environment; reports to Store Director/Managers and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year of related work experience
- Ability to solve practical problems; arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to file, post, and mail materials; copy data from one record to another; interview to obtain basic information; guide people and provide basic direction
