Job Summary
Teach campers photography techniques, composition, and lighting while introducing fashion design concepts, styling, and industry trends. Lead hands-on projects where students collaborate to create designs for a culminating Fashion Runway Show. Supervise participants throughout all activities in a safe, positive environment and prepare lesson materials. Communicate professionally with Parks & Recreation staff and parents as needed. Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bigelow Center for Senior Activities in Fairfield, CT, from July 27–31, 2026. Compensation is $27.00–$30.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of teaching or instructional experience
- Minimum 3 years of fashion experience
- Minimum 3 years of photography experience
- A successful background check
- Ability to stand and actively participate throughout the program
- Ability to assist with classroom setup, materials, and hands-on projects
- Ability to supervise students in both classroom and activity settings
- Ability to communicate professionally with Parks & Recreation staff and parents as needed
- Must be able to do the entire camp before you apply

- Ability to create fun, engaging, and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Passion for inspiring creativity and artistic expression
- Previous experience leading youth camps or enrichment programs
- Background in fashion design, merchandising, photography, visual arts, or related fields
- Ability to motivate students while fostering creativity and teamwork
- CPR and First Aid Certification
