Job Summary
Assist in day-to-day operations of the design and production teams by accurately specing garments, logging them into tech packs, and maintaining the bulk approval, fabric, and trim library. Create flat sketches on Adobe Illustrator, color CADs, and fix garments missing trims or sequins. Observe the development process from design to bulk production, create packages for factory submissions, track incoming shipments, steam garments, and organize design racks. Run errands to vendors and trim stores as needed. Submit resumes without portfolios will not be considered. Summer 2025 semester starting June 2025. Must live in the New York City Metro area. Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Excel required.
Required Qualifications
- Must live in the New York City Metro area
- New graduates or current students
- Strong willingness to learn and improve
- Must be responsible, team-worker, reliable, and have a positive and can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Professional, pleasant attitude, and proactive
- Adaptability to handle multiple projects and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Excel
- Proficient in creating flats and CADS on Adobe Illustrator
- Must submit a portfolio (implied by 'RESUMES SUBMITTED WITHOUT PORTFOLIOS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED')

- Animal lover (we have an office puppy)
- Knowledge in embroidery and embellishment
- Specing and measuring garments
