Job Summary
Lead and develop store teams by hiring, training, mentoring hourly associates, assigning duties, and setting clear expectations. Promote a sense of belonging while guiding operations, customer service excellence, merchandising, and company initiatives. Drive store performance through P&L awareness, budgeting, forecasting, inventory control, shrink reduction, and action plans. Communicate objectives across levels, coach and develop associates, and implement changes related to business solutions. Maintain adherence to policies, support Open Door leadership, and model Walmart values while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
- Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
