Job Summary
Assist the Styling Editor on shoots involving steaming clothes, packing samples, studio support, and liaising with couriers. Maintain the fashion cupboard, manage press samples movement, and produce merchandise credits for shoots. Call in clothing samples, collect and collate images for online galleries, and establish strong PR contacts. This is a six-month non-NUJ fixed-term contract position, working part-time, three days a week. The prorated salary is £16,800, with a package commensurate with skills and responsibilities. The role operates in a hybrid environment with offices in King's Cross, London.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of working on fashion shoots
- A knowledge of and interest in fashion and culture
- Interest in digital and print media
- Experience of dealing with people at different levels in person and over the telephone
- Experience of organising merchandise
- Experience of supporting a team or senior colleagues
- Experience of maintaining a log or register of goods received
- Ideally, you'll have a demonstrable ability to bring a diverse perspective to this role
- Experience assisting a stylist
- A wide knowledge of high and low fashion
- Knowledge of both youth and catwalk trends
